"As you emerge from the dungeon, you notice the once ruined gate in the gravel-ly garden outside is glowing - drawing strange cyan particles of light into a swirling vortex. Chiselled words arc across the circular shape of the gate - now illuminated. Once again, you don't recognise the language, but somehow you understand the lexicon - "Seek the portal, Acolytes of The Pale Flame." if nothing else, your short stay in this cavernous expanse ridden with gigantified pests and bird creatures, has proven to you that you are not alone, ...or at least you weren't. And so, heading through the portal, you emerge in what appears to be a graveyard - at least 20 headstones protruding from what appears to be the only soily region in this barren stone wasteland. And if to prove your very suspicion, resting against an obsidian obelisk at the end of the raised ground, is a human skeleton - and it clutches a note." This is Part #2 of the Professional Procrastinator's Amateur DnD maps. I admit this isn't actually a chronological post, before my players arrived at this location they had to explore the aforementioned puzzle dungeon. You may notice a few errors in this one, namely that I actually had the cliff stamps around the rock sometimes facing the wrong direction, implying it was sunken not protruding... But it is what it is lol. I also actually wrote a new story blurb script thingymajig so I think it sounds a bit better compared to last time. You be the judge. Also, know that I'm figuring out how Tumblr works, I'm gonna custom-tag my original content. See if you can figure out which one it is lmao.

"After a grueling series of puzzles, built to utilise the magical traits of the Bear, Snake, Fox and Frog, you arrive at the final sanctuary. Before you, similar to the entry to this strange runic dungeon, is another marble pedestal with hand prints engraved into it. Infront of it lays 3 chests. I wonder what lays within?" This is Part #3 of the ProProcrastinated amateur DnD maps. Strangely I can't seem to replicate the certain colours and lighting I gave this small room. I've tried to achieve a similar vibe but I never could, idk. Either way, this is probably one of my favourite maps I've made, even if it's the smallest. Fun fact: This was the first time the druid in the party got to see greenery since falling into the great cavescape, her player started collecting the leaves of the bushes lol.

"Hiding away from the old stone highways that branched throughout the cavesystem, a strange ruin lay in the center of a mushroom forest.
A strange contraption protrudes from the center of the rubble array, with four pedestals marked with figureheads of what appear to be different animals. Before you is a brick building with a cast-iron vault door, and a pressure plate. The pedestals are arranged; A frog, a bear, a snake, and a fox. You tinker with the arrangement, pushing pedestals into a different order. With a bit of brainpower and trial and error - you step onto the pressure plate and hear the clunk of a heavy mechanism. Inside the room lies a marble table with engravings for palms - cyan text illuminates - “Behold nature’s hunger, and meddle the food chain.” Upon placing your hand, you feel it lock in, as if magnetic. You descend into a dungeon." This is part #3 of the Professional Procrastinator's Amateur DnD maps, although it should technically be #2. The dungeon that actually allowed entry to the graveyard from my previous post was accessed via this mechanism. You can see me slowly getting a handle on shading and texturing throughout these images lol. I was originally going to include the small reward room in this post because it looked really good, but I'll leave it to another for now.

"Suddenly, tremors shake the soil beneath you, and you fall into an abyss...
Before you is a circular crypt, great marble pillars holding the stoney roof up. In the centre of the room, an altar beckons your the print of your hand. Your mind is filled with a strange, unkown language, yet somehow you understand.
"Prove Your Pedigree..."
With nothing else to do, you place your hand on the pedestal. A spike impales your palm, before it expands outwards with intricate engineering like no other.
"Pedigree Confirmed."
The room shines bright - you feel yourself being transported. Bright colours flash by you, your stomach twisting from mana sickness.
You awaken in a crater, before you a huge cavescape, spanning as far as the eye can see. You travel up a rocky staircase, revealing a strange mushroom capped village." "But what's that noise?"
Part #1 of the Professional Procrastinator's Amateur dnd maps... This was the first map I ever made, actually, so expect more errors the closer you look. Also not a huge fan of the brief story text above, wrote that a long time ago... It is what it is! Definitely too many squares on this one.

Pinned comment for my personal #s
Hi! Thanks for checking out my page. All of the art that I made will have the hashtag; #ProProcrastinated. I'm currently doing a thing where I upload a DnD map a day as well, which is #Professional Procrastinator's Amateur DnD Maps. A bit of a mouthful but... entertaining.
